My first plane trip since WLS
Kim,
I can't wait to take my first flight to see the difference. No more belt extension for me and hopefully I won't have to crush myself up against the window or stick out in the aisle so I don't feel so self conscious about giving the person next to me their space. I think you will be delightfully surprised. You may even be dissappointed too. Those seats are squishy and small for everyone.
When I traveled to New Orleans, The plane had the smallest seats ever! A woman sitting across from me who couldn't have been taller than 4'11 and heavier than 110 pounds was complaining. Remember those seats are awful for most normal size people too.
Have safe travels!

Hi MsBlues! Wow, that is no lie about the seats being small...whew! Tim and I were walking down the aisle towards our seats in row 38 and I looked back at him and said, holy cow, those seats are small! 17" wide...I investigated! LOL Anyhow, it was snug, BUT, the seat belt clicked close and when I tugged it close, I had an extra 6" of belt. I cried...LOL I'll post on a separate thread but thank you for your note, only someone who has "been there, done that" can appreciate the fears we will have until we replace them with new victories! xo Kim
